Hi, not sure if I can ask this question on this forum.

I have a dreambox 800HD SE that can play any videofile i want ... xvid,divx, mkv, vob,etc etc etc ... perfect mediaplayer.

For my daughter I bought a secondhand (genuine) 800HD PVR, wich I can't configure to play those xvid, divx etc files, only mpeg-kinda streams.
At first neither audio nor video would play, now I installed some plugins and the audio plays ... but still no image...

I have newnigma2 3.3 (allready tried the newer 4.0.9 image but no joy either.

I compared the two models, both have mpeg and h264 decoder internally...

I really can't seem to find the problem ... some help would be greatly appreciated.
