This is the second Dreambox that I've got into same situation. I used Flashwizard to flash new .fw2 file on to it over the network. Went couple of steps smoothly and than samething, stuck over "writing cramfs partition" for half hour. Unplugged the power and plugged back. Now no response. The green light in front turns on but no video, no other responses!! Is there anything that I could do to revive it. I feel bad returning this box as well...

Forgot to mention... Tried that. I've a USB to serial adapter than male to male converter (since both receiver and USB adapter has male e$$$) ran the program and selected com port and the program says "connected, please turn on receiver" I tried unplugging and replugging, pressing stand by button... Same thing!!! Dreamup doesn't processes.
