FOR INTERNATIONAL VIEWS IN ENGLISH

Salaam to all the users of Echolink EL 700 FTA and clones
post in English for International viewers
2day I’m going to tell u some hidden functions, usage of these functions, + ve & – ve points of Echolink from my personal point of view… lets start

Name of Receiver: Echolink EL 700FTA and Clones etc
IC Number:
ALI
M3329 B1
0625 TG05
X603209000GB it may be different in different models or receiver
Default Password: 0000
Master Password: 3327
Active Pixel: 720*480@30fps; 720*576@25fps
Code Menu Activation: Press Menu and then press "2020"
Nagravision and TPS auto rolled keys: Press Menu and then press "2121"
Website for the software reliable: http:/***.srsupport.***/srsupport.****

Most Frequently Questions are as follow: D

How to enter keys?

1st of all activate your key editor by the method told by me above. Then press “Menu” and u will see the option of “Tools” press Ok to enter in this option now u can see an option name as “Key Editor” press Ok to enter in this option. Now u can see different kind of security boxes like Nagravision 1 & 2, Viaccess 1 & 2, Seca, etc respectively…
Now check the security level of that particular channel whose keys u want to enter then check whether its name is given in the security boxes of ur Echolink decoder if u find that option then simply press ok on its name and enter the keys but incase if there is not a security box of a channel whose keys u have got but won’t be able to enter in ur decoder then u have to use keys editor software in-order to create that box of that particular channel. Most of the people face confusion while applying DCW & Biss in their boxes for these 2 things I am telling the method step by step just follow the instructions & u will be able to enter the keys in ur boxes.
Enter in “keys editor” option and press Ok button @ the end of all the security levels u will find the option will be of DCW/Biss written go to that and press Ok by ur remote. Now u have 2 options @ that time if u press left side volume button then Biss security box will also shown 2 u people if u want to give simply DCW keys just press Ok 2 times on DCW option & now u can enter the keys which u can get from the keys section of forum. For Biss procedure is also the same just press 2 times Ok button by your remote on Biss security box and now u can enter keys in ur decoder.
Note there is no need of providers for Biss/DCW keys in Echolink just start the channel u want to put the keys on the screen and follow the procedure told by me above

How to save data loss in Echolink?

This is a –ve point of Echolink that sometime it automatically loss all the data save in it  so we have to once again install all the channels and re-arrange them it is a time consuming thing but we can save our settings & channels list inside our Echolink by doing this we will be able to have a little backup inside the memory of our Echolink
For this press “menu” button and u will see the option “Channels” press Ok @ the end of this option u will see “Save my channels list & settings” 1st time all of u made perfect settings for ur backup and use this option to save ur settings it will ask u password @ the time of saving give it the password which u have selected for ur-self incase if u don’t remember it I have already mention the master password of Echolink(not working on all the models) now if ur channels loss by upgrading ur STB and doing default settings or due to any other reason just go in the option of “Channels” in main menu & u will see an option “Restore my channels list & setting” it’ll ask u password enter the password & ur old settings & channels will be OK

Why it miss few channels?

This is a big issue in Echolink this problem even still not solved by the manufacturers of Echolink I have seen the latest model of Echolink the problem remains there …
But anyways I am telling u about the solution if u r facing this kind of problem on any satellite for example Echolink won’t be able to get G Kaboom, ARY Shopping & some other channels of other satellites but I am giving here a main concept if it does so then follow the procedure given below ur channels will be Ok
Press “list” button from ur remote control then press “yellow” button of remote & it’ll ask u about password provide the password & now u will see some new options now press “blue” button of remote and after that press “green” button now select ur required satellite on which ur receiver won’t be able to get the channels after that add frequency of the channels which are not coming in ur receiver. Write the name of channel in the “Name” option & then give Video & Audio paids which u can get from the following link. Just ignore the 3rd option which is “PCR” now @ the end you’ll the option of “Save” just save ur channel & exit ur channel will be in working if u have given Audio & Video paids correctly

ALERT!
1St Time Users of New Purchased Echolink:

Don’t tune ur receiver by using 1st time “Network Scene” option because if it miss any channel then u won’t be able to get it back by any other way except to create it.1st time only do the “Preset Scene” & after that do “Network Scene”

Advantages of Multi search?

If u have 2 or more than 2 dishes connected with ur Echolink then u can tune them @ once just press “menu” button and go in the option of “Installation” now u will be able to see this option just enter in this option and select all the satellites which u want to tune. After selecting satellites u will see an option “Scene Channels” there are 3 options available for users TV+Radio, TV only, Radio only now this thing depends upon ur requirements. After that u will see an option “Scene Mode” there r now 2 options “Preset” and “Network” scene if u select “Preset Scene” then u will get the channels only whose frequencies r inside ur receiver but if u select “Network Scene” then ur receiver will get all the frequencies from satellites and will tune all the channels

How to add new satellites?

If u don’t have any satellite in ur STB like NSS 6, Insat 4B etc then u can create these satellites in ur Echolink by the following method
Press “menu” go in “installation” option now from upper side @ 5th number u will see an option “Satellite List” press Ok button now press “green” button for creating a new satellite after press that button on the top option u will see option of “Name” write the name of ur required satellite after that u will see an option "Longitude" mention the angle of that satellite and save ur settings & exit. You can also edit ur satellite by pressing “Red” button from ur remote

Smart card & Serial port?

Press “menu” button & enter in “tools” option @ the end u will see “Smart card & Serial port” option enter in it now u can see 2 options here one is “Gbox SSSP” & other will be “Keyfly Dongle” options “Gbox SSSP” this option is used for sharing purpose if u want to select it just exit when u seen that option ur option will be automatically selected. Now we move to “Keyfly Dongle” it is a security level which is currently used by some of channels like “InXtc”, “Spice Platinum” etc for this conformation here is a link for all just go the following link & conform it by ur-self that which channel are currently using this security level. U can watch these channels with a device which is attach @ the RS232 port & u can watch all the channels comes under the influence of that security level but u have to select it 1st in the options & exit selecting procedure is same as “Gbox SSSp”

Why it shows UP9?

Some people ask that after upgrading their receiver it shows “UP9” on the front panel of the receiver. The reason of this problem is that there is some kind of fault in software mean if u select a wrong clone to upgrade ur receiver or light turn off @ the time of booting then this kind of fault will come. There is only one solution for this problem & it is flash which we cannot do by our-self as we required a flash machine for this purpose…

On 400 channels why it show memory full?

I have personally seen this fault in some Echolink receivers & also read some posts in the forum related to the similar problem. This problem occurs when there is some kind of fault in the main IC of the receiver due to this fault some of the part of memory lost & we have to face this fault. The solution of this fault is also flashing of “IC” whose number I have already told above…

Subtitle button not working?

Some people ask why it doesn’t work the reason is that most of the channels doesn’t provide us this facility that’s why it doesn’t work I have personally seen it working on MNET East but not all the time it work 

TXT button not working?

Its reason also similar as subtitle button mostly channels doesn’t provide us this facility. By using this button we can get quick information on our TV screens previously PTV also provides this facility but now-a-days it’s not working. On Hotbird satellite Eurosports, ZDF, VOX, Motors TV, etc are providing this facility

Software by satellite?

U can see this option only if ur receiver is only upgraded by the company and u have still not yet upgraded ur receiver by ur-self because once u upgrade ur receiver by ur-self this option will automatically disappear for ever 
For upgrading it here are some parameters it will take 60 minutes according to its book
Satellite: Austra 19 degree east
Frequency: 12604
Symbol rate: 22000
Polarity: H
Download PID: 1277
I have personally seen DSTV upgrading, Geo TV, Dish TV by satellite automatically and time is different for each of them

PGUP & PGDN on remote button?

U will see these buttons on remote “PGUP” stands for “Page group up” & “PGDN” stands for “Page group down” if u press Ok button on any channel main screen u will get the list/name of all the channels on ur TV screen I have seen many people who remember the channels number or check the channels list 1 by 1. By using these buttons on ur remote u can make a leap of 10 channels & so can preview all the channels names and number very quickly

SatcoDX auto programming?

Maximum people are confuse about this function I personally feel this is almost a useless function for all the Echolink users & I have reason to prove this thing
If u have seen the site name as “satcodx” I admit here that their frequencies are very reliable but our forum members are more active as compared with “satcodx” team & its true those who r visitor of that site have notice that if there is any new frequency on any satellite it came in the forum 1st before the posting of “satcodx” team on their website coming back to the main point once again. This function will automatically upgrade ur channels list and satellite list there is a special loader required for that purpose which I have uploaded many times in forum but still if there is any person who need it I’ll post it once again there is only one setting of that loader when u open it u will see an option “Program Only" click on it and u will see the option of “satcodx program” now get the “satcodx file” to upgrade ur channels list & satellite list. The biggest problem is that “satcodx” have made its own satellite settings and channels list setting which may be useless for us I have already mention that Echolink don’t need any frequency even if u have correct angle u can still can get all the channels of that satellite from satellite automatically

Channels not unlocking even after doing new software?

Some time this problem comes with few people even after doing the new software their software doesn’t Ok I have receive a phone call related to that problem & I have personally seen this problem. In this situation the fault is very minor and it is the frequency which is as follow 10873,V,27500 if any of u won’t be able to get the signals of that frequency ur software will automatically turn off & until u have receive that frequency u won’t be able to see the channels working still on ur new software. Even some of u has also experience that if u hasn’t turn ON ur receiver for 1 or 2 weeks then it create some problem @ the time of opening channels

Some cautions for all receivers:

1. Turn the power off ur receiver from the power plug when not seen
2. Do not expose it in the air where their is moisture
3. Do not expose it near fire
4. Do not use it when there is thunder storm
5. Do not spread ur cable wires on the floor of ur corridors
6. Do not put ur decoders on a stand by mode for a long time

((THANKS TO Hassan Syed ))

How to Upgrade EL-700 FTA Super from box to box

-----------------------------------------------------

Salaam To All brothers
Switch "ON" master receiver 1st mean ur master STB must be in working normal mod then connect both the STB's through RS232 then perss "369" from ur remote controll & switch "ON" the slave receiver ur receiver start upgrading. But remember I personally won't recomend U to upgarde ur STB from STB to STB as there is maximum chance is present that ur STB flash may damaged in this process always try to upgrade ur STB from ur PC but in case of emergence U can also do this thing I have seen a lot of EL Supper in the begining stop in "ON" condation & @ that time repair file was also not available. U can also upgarde ur STB to STB if U have a TV in front of U procedure is almost the same. 1st "ON" the master recievr then go to "Tools" there U will see option @ number 4 position "Software Upgrade" press Ok on it then select the option given there its up to U what U want to do whether U want to upgrade full sofwtare or only want to upgrade keys etc then press OK in master receiver & switch "ON" ur slave box ur receiver will start upgrading

How to patch your Echolink Receiver
« Reply #5 on: April 22, 2010, 08:10:55 PM »
How to patch your Echolink Receiver

What you must do to patch your Echolink Receiver:

First of all, do you have a null modem cable?
If not, go buy yourself one.
Make sure what you get is a null-modem cable. If the merchant doesn't know what it is, or is puzzled and asks you what it's for, go somewhere else.

If you have the correct cable, download yourself a loader from the Loader section. Try any of the Aliminiupg versions. Aliminiupg2 is recommended.

Download a patch from the Software section

If you've scanned in some channels already, and have lists and settings set up, backup your channels lists and settings...
Use menu > channel > "Save channel list and settings"
Default password is 0000
If you change and forget the password, the master password is 3327

Connect the null modem cable to your receiver and to your PC. Use a serial port if you have one, if you use a USB-Serial adapter, make sure you know what com port it's using.

Run your loader and select your downloaded patch.

If you have the option, select maincode for your upgrade type.
If it's your first time patching, and you have no lists or settings to save, use the allcode + bootloader option

Otherwise only use maincode or casdata to update your keys.

Turn your Echolink off.

Click "start" on your loader

Turn your Echolink on.

Your Echolink should now go into upgrade mode. Your loader will run some tests and start loading, and the dislay on your Echolink will show flashing and moving lights.

Leave it until the word "end" appears on your receiver.

Close your loader, and reboot your receiver.

Then you're done.

To turn the patch on/off use your remote to go to Menu and key in 2020
To enable/disable Auto-update use your remote to go to Menu and key in 2121

How to use the Premiere Portals...
« Reply #6 on: April 22, 2010, 08:11:36 PM »
How to use the Premiere Portals...
...on your Echolink receiver:

There are three Portals on 19.2E:

Premiere Direkt Portal: 12031H 27500 Vpid 2815 Apid 2817
Premiere Sport Portal: 11719H 27500 Vpid 255 Apid 256
Premiere Erotik Portal: 12031H 27500 Vpid 1279 Apid 1280

Setting up:
Save your current Channel lists and settings

Find and delete your Premiere Sport, Premiere Direkt, and Premiere Erotik channels including Blue movies and Blue Movies Extra.

Save your portals to one of your favourite lists.

Go to the portal of your choice..

Press the yellow button.

A Multifeeds window will appear on your screen, showing the available channels. Give it a few seconds for your receiver to find and scan in the channels.

When the window appears, just scroll down until you see the channel you want.

The Premiere Sports Portal will list what events are showing.

The Premiere Erotik Portal will list the names of the 5 NSFW channels

The Premiere Direkt Portal will give you a list of channels with names like D 1 12:00 These names refer to a Premiere Direkt Channel and a start time. It will not tell you the name of the film or event, but they are more easily found than before by consulting the schedule on the Portal itself.

You can change between any of these channels by again pressing the yellow button.

Pressing OK will bring you to the "All Satellite" list. If you're using the compact screen for browsing, press the red button to expand it. Pressing the favourite button "FAV" will bring up your choice of Favourite lists. (It's best to go back to the Portal before changing to a regular channel or ot a different list, as otherwise you may lock up your receiver and will need to reboot.) Pressing OK again on the list from where you started, will bring you back to the Portal,

Motor Installation for Echolink

I found this elsewhere and thought it might be of use to our members..

DiSEqC motor installation.

1. Menu
2. Installation
3. Antenna Setup (you may get a box on your screen telling you to wait for the dish to be moved)
4. Select the Satellite to be found.
5. LNB config
6. Positioner > DiSEqC12
7. Position to save(enter a unique number for each sat position)
8. Move East/West to find the selected satellite.(Signal bars will indicate if you hit the position).
9. Go back 2 menu screens using
to search function section then scan the satellite you have found.
10. Repeat the process untill you have the sats you need.

How to enter BISS/DCW keys on Echolink
This is a very simple process.

Go to the channel for which you want to enter the BISS/DCW key

Select Menu/Tools/Key Editor
Go to the bottom of the Encryption List - the channel name will be there.
Press OK
Scroll sideways for "Constant DW" or "BISS"
Press OK
The cursor will always appear at the end of the character string, scroll right once to get to the start
Enter the BISS/DCW key
Press OK - This will save the key and the channel will immediately open in the background.

Master keys for Echolink
Master Key pin code over any set code 3227

How to fix the Comms Problem.
As many of you will have found, the various communications programs are quite tricky. A sizable minority have been unable to backup their channel lists, myself included, and until now we've been groping in the dark for a solution.

Here it is!

Right click on the comms program in question, select properties, click the "compatibility" tab, and change to Windows 95 compatibility mode.

I've done this for FteMaxeditor and AliUpSpain, and have successfully managed to do repeated backups.

Adding Manual Keys

Adding Manual Keys

Menu
Tools
Key Editor
Under Nagra2 select 4101 Digital +

Under Key select, choose Key 0 or Key 1
The cursor will appear at the end of the key, so scroll right once to bring it to the beginning, and enter the key digits with your remote as if it were a mobile phone message.
When finished, press and the key will be saved.
Exit out.

Thank you very much for the guidance. I managed to reset the password after my son locked the receiver with unknown password.
:thank_you:
