Voraussetzung: AAF Weihnachtsimage UFS910-BA

- BA 6.0.0 mit der neuen Kernel Funktion von nit

- Baboot 0.7 ist enthalten

Dieses sollte interessant sein für alle die Probleme haben wenn sie zusätzlich eine USB HDD dran haben.

Um mit Platte zu booten muß diese am hinteren unteren Port angeschlossen werden.

Dies wird in der bootp.conf geändert bei Bedarf.

Anleitung MPI ab Version 1.6 und folgenden!
.. hatte da mal bissel was gebastelt.
Ehe die verstümmelte Version hier erscheint lieber mal diese.
Genau lesen und dann danach vorgehn.
Alles weis ich auch nicht, aber ich gebe mein bestes!

Note to new AAF LZMA E2 image:

To install the new AAF NEW LZMA E2 images you need to have Mini U-boot 1.3 installed AND active !!!
If you do install the new AAF NEW LZMA E2 image without Mini U-boot 1.3 your box will NOT boot.
Then you need to install the recovery image.

Note to flashtool:

The new flash tool can flash kim-images and only images.
The difference is that kim-images will change the bootargs to fit the kim-image.
When flashing just a image (without kim file) MPI flash the image but don't change the bootargs.
This can be handy when flashing the same image structure, or you want to set the bootargs your self.

If you have the Kathrein original FW 2.02RC in flash then MPI uses multi part flashing.
This takes a bit longer (sorry, i will later work to improve the upload speed).


Note to Mini:

1. Device name may have max 16 chars !!!
2. when installing a image in miniboot, MPI will copy settings,channels,...if selected !
3. make sure you add the serverip in the mainscreen (NEW)

To install a USB/BA image or set the boot default, click on the right mouse button to select the option.

Miniuboot file is not include. You must download the latest version.
MPI will ask where you stored the file. Then it will be uploaded.

Don't forget you need to prepare your USB stick for MiniUboot.



UFS9XX MultiPart Installer

I build another program to use Multipart for BA.
It's NOT to replace KCC but we can use this untill VisMan has more time to add multipart to KCC.
It's like BA_help from GOst4711.
Only we made a few more options.

- Install BA on UFS922 in Flash (with org. image or new E2 flash image)
- Installing a image from Flash / BA / UFS_Image for UFS910 and UFS922.
- Install a image from ../UFS_Images
- Reboot
- delete image
- rename image
- Set Boot image
- drag and drop from UFS_Images to Installed images list
- Copy settings, channels, var, amount.ini from running image

When installing a image you will be asked to change the name (or keep the name)
The image that is set for boot has a blue color.


Here are the copy options:

Copy channels:

/usr/local/share/enigma2/bouquets*

1. Installation SoftUSB2 and E2 - in fact, this option should be used only when installing softusb2 and E2 is the first time, or pen-and changed, or damaged we Softusb2, which reveals not display bootmenu. 2. Installing new version of the E2 (update) - use it when you want to record a new version of the E2 to the already installed in step 1 and existing standard as a 2 point bootmenu. It works only on the installation Świerże E2 and change the entry bootmenu. No other files on the pen are not deleted.

3. Doinstalowanie new firmware E2/neutrino/inne:
- Unpack the downloaded zip file with the soft / zip to a file tar.gz
- Select the advanced options
- Then unpacking / installation of a new distribution of E2
- When asked "Do you unpack the distribution of E2 to the directory?" persons using the EXT3 may respond, depending on preference. People who use the FAT file system this question does not appear.
- When asked "Do you create an image Softusb2?" answer YES
- Choose soft we want. Eg Neutrino_tdt-2001_PKT-178.tar.gz
- We give the name of the created image. Such as neutrino
- Size of the created image can be left to 256MB.
- When you create image entering to the "Manage BootMenu"
- We press download

- Field type always choose e2 for E1/E2/Neutrino/VDR
- Select type field softusb2
- Press the question mark on the right side of the field parameters
- Mark the file you created earlier neutrino.uImage

- We press Save
- We press download to see if bootmenu been changed
- We close the program and look forward to the new firmware doinstalowanego

5. Removing unnecessary entries from bootmenu:
- Run the installer E2
- Enter the advanced options
- Then to manage bootmenu
- Press download
- If you have questions about the type of partition, answer truthfully ;-)
- Is characterized by the bootitem you want to delete. Of course you can uncheck any, even the middle. The rest will be poprzesuwana during a write operation
- Press Save and then download the purposes of checking whether our settings are correctly inscribed

6. Improved network configuration:
- Run with the tuner Drivers in flash
- Run the installer E2
- Enter the advanced options
- Then telnet
- We press the button "Configure network for E2
- We reaffirm that the tuner is running with the Drivers in flash
- We reaffirm that the tuner is in standby mode
- When asked "Do you use EXT3?" answer YES if softusb2 is installed on your system EXT3, or NO if the FAT
- We provide a correct gateway address
- Changing the mask, if necessary
- Waiting until the completion of the work, which show the information:
