Alpha Web Radio

Alpha version of a web radio ripper.

09.10.2010

This plugin will "listen" for you in the background the web radio "Top 100 Station" and produced
it notified and provided with ID3 tags mp3 tracks without anything further that you
to do or would have to run in the background a PC.

And now comes the best part: This is 100% legal and delivered to you mp3s of the Top 100 titles
in 256kbit quality.

How it works:

At the core lies the likely number of known streamripper behind it, here in a
sh4 version is included.
To distribute the credits correctly: I have not made the effort of translation,
but used a translated version for the Kathrein UFS 910 - but that does for us
no difference. The rest is scripting and configuration.

Currently, the whole thing is a station permanently set (top 100 station). It is in
Principle with other radio stations. The division and naming folded into separate mp3s then
if:

- The radio station ID3 tags mitsendet (not all do)
- This ID3 tags also come half-way sync with the title change (which happens often delayed arg)
- The songs are not over completely mixed together.
Who can scripting, may like to experiment.

When configured radio station it all goes very satisfactory - perhaps it is also
still improvable.

Installation:

As each plugin - any questions, please consult the FAQ.

Operation:

Plugin load music start or auto start and put boot on. 30 seconds after start
Background
the ripping process. You get them with nothing. Therefore, there is no screenshot. After
5 minutes should have been played, the first full title.

On the record now stands in the directory load the music track. It will hold over
More time.

When you load the plugin-STOP music starts, the background process is stopped. Here, too,
there is no visual feedback.

The whole thing takes relatively little CPU and is prioritized rather low. It should also be parallel
function to record / playback. Since the case is in alpha stage,
I ask you to be careful here, however.

Boundary conditions:

Octi must have a network connection and the Internet are.
There must be a disk or a USB stick in Octi plug (where the heck elsewhere
are stored).
The matter should also work with the 1008er - I could but in the absence
1008er not really test.
