Hi everyone.
Am a complete newbie to this, so let me tell you.
I've just ordered an OpenBox S9 HD PVR from eBay and am awaiting delivery.
If anyone can help I'd be greatful of an "Idiot's setup guide" if at all possible, so that when it arrives I can hit the ground running.

I've done a bit of research on the CCCard subject and realise this unit is only a client. Is that a problem? Also is there an idiot's guide on how to set that up and also sources.

Is there anything I need to watch out for? i.e. I hear there are freezing problems with some channels and believe that later firmware may help with this, can somebody point me in the direction of the latest tested?

One final thing, I am new to the world of Satellite TV as in Openbox, but I do have an amstrad sky unit, that is on it's last legs, lots of channels are degraded, i.e. pixelated, hence this purchase. It is a standard amstrad box, i.e. not plus and not HD. I therefore already have a sky dish, newish shape and lnb. Will the openbox work ok with this?
