The exploited vulnerability in the chip of the third-generation Nagravision is already at the beginning of this year have been announced.

Rumor: Nagravision undermined by Unity Media
According to insider reports seems to be undermined by one of the Unity Media used Nagravision versions.

Currently it was possible all channels (including Pay Per View) of the Unity Media offer to decipher without a valid subscription.

In Unity Media Nagravision cards come with the ROM versions 122 and 110 for use.

The ROM 110 also has long been at the Spanish pay-TV providers 'Digital +' completely compromised in use until it was replaced about two years ago for a safer version.

At Unity Media, the ROM 110 was issued, however, in a time at least, secure audit.
Maybe it's been about the possible use of 'Digital +' known information about the ROM version available through other errors in the ROM software and exploit them.

HD+ & Sky: Nagravision ROM 142 ausgehebelt!
