As Coach Lambeau Fields (David Koechner) puts together Heartland State's new football team, he and his misfit squad manage to mock every sport movie of the last couple decades. As they hit the field on the way to the championship game, they take on the likes of Rocky, Field of Dreams, Seabiscuit, Blue Crush, Stick It and The Longest Yard among countless others. It all starts when a voice-in-the-sky tells Coach, "If you build it, he will come" - that is, the quarterback that will lead The Comebacks to victory. But the team will also need a kicker who can Bend It Like Beckham, an assistant coach with a love for the game and his Radio ... or rather iPod; and a little guy with heart whose name sounds a lot like Rudy. Once the team is in place, Coach Fields watches his team forget the Titans under the glaring Friday Night Lights, and leads them all the way to the state championship where they battle a Gridiron Gang of footballers and manage to turn out the biggest Miracle the little Texas town of Plainfolk has seen since that Invincible bartender from Philly tried out for the team and made it. Oh wait. In The Comebacks, he doesn't make it.

Welcome back to Crystal Lake in a chilling re-imagining of the classic horror film Friday the 13th. Searching for his missing sister, Clay Miller (Jared Padalecki) heads up to the eerie woods of legendary Crystal Lake, where he stumbles on the creaky remains of rotting old cabins behind moss-covered trees. And that's not the only thing lying in wait under the brush. Against the advice of police and cautions from the locals, Clay pursues what few leads he has in the search for his missing sister, Whitney (Amanda Righetti), with the help of Jenna (Danielle Panabaker), a young woman he meets among a group of college kids up for an all-thrills weekend. But they are all about to find much more than they bargained for. Little do they know, they've entered the domain of one of the most terrifying specters in American film history, the infamous killer who haunts Crystal Lake, armed with a razor-sharp machete ... Jason Voorhees.
Giulia Non Esce La Sera

Giulia è un'istruttrice di nuoto in libertà vigilata e compromessa col mondo, Guido uno scrittore con una debole vocazione che cerca un coinvolgimento col mondo. Si incontreranno ai bordi di una piscina: lui vuole imparare a nuotare, lei non vuole affondare. Giulia ha una figlia adolescente che rifiuta il suo affetto e non le perdona di averla abbandonata, Guido una ragazzina introversa che si accompagna a Filippo, un coetaneo compassato che legge Kafka e ascolta Richard Anthony. Autore di libri che nessuno conclude, Guido proverà a dare senso e intenzione ai personaggi di un romanzo soltanto abbozzato e alle persone che abitano la sua vita mai spesa. Sono passati cinque e lunghissimi anni dall'ultimo film di Giuseppe Piccioni, autore di un cinema sommesso e sempre discreto, luce degli occhi in una produzione nazionale (s)finita e prevedibile. È certamente ingiusto definire il valore di opere cinematografiche sulla base dello scarto che evidenziano nei confronti di altri film, eppure non si può negare che Giulia non esce la sera si imponga per la sua capacità di guardarsi attorno, di comprendere meglio ciò che accade (soprattutto) in Italia, di mettere in discussione l'identità dei personaggi e di uscire "dalla chiusura domestica". Giulia e Guido sono personaggi possibili che oscillano tra apertura e chiusura, sembrano sempre sul punto di aprirsi e di aprire ma poi ricadono nella "sicurezza" abitudinaria di una routine carica di solitudini e ostruzioni. Piccioni prova ad agevolare i rapporti e ad aprire varchi scegliendo, non a caso, un luogo-soglia liquido in bilico tra pubblico e privato. Le sue inquadrature privilegiano punti di vista che incorniciano Giulia e Guido davanti o dietro i vetri, fuori o dentro l'acqua, mettendo in contatto interno ed esterno. Ma la relazione si rivelerà per entrambi come un'occasione perduta, una tensione verso l'altro che si ripiega su se stessa e sul proprio inevitabile scacco. Il Guido in sospeso di Valerio Mastandrea non riesce a intervenire sul mondo con la sua arte, è insofferente alle pratiche dell'editoria ma ugualmente le asseconda. Il suo scrivere è fine a se stesso e produce un surrogato di esperienza, non riproduce mai la sostanza delle cose. Giulia sopravvive come antidoto a una perdita di libertà e di maternità . Due vite lontane, le loro, eppure adiacenti ai bordi di una piscina. Il caso, in forma di lezioni di nuoto, costringe i loro corpi nello stesso elemento e le loro anime a fare i conti con tutto ciò che non hanno mai saputo o immaginato. Piccioni scava con precisione e senza nessuna enfasi dentro la complessità della privazione (di maternità da una parte e di creatività dall'altra) di Giulia e di Guido, differentemente percepita, elaborata, disprezzata. Il film si insinua nei segni che dicono la difficoltà di una vita da vivere ancora e nonostante tutto. A raffreddare l'emozionalità calda del frangente e l'attimo della definitiva costrizione dei protagonisti a un destino che hanno volontariamente scelto per loro c'è l'acqua, l'acqua che fluidifica il rapporto dopo un lungo corteggiamento. Ma la loro storia, abortita o assoluta, non andrà oltre l'istantaneità dell'attimo e non si dibatterà contro la propria dissoluzione.
Hannah Montana: The Movie

Miley Stewart's (Miley Cyrus) life is out of balance. Taken under the wing of a gungho and glamorous publicist, Vita (Vanessa Williams), Miley's letting Hannah begin to dominate her life. When she keeps choosing Hannah over her commitments to family members - to say goodbye to Jackson (Jason Earles) as he leaves for college, to attend Lilly's (Emily Osment) long-anticipated sweet-16 party or her grandmother's birthday celebration - it is clear Miley's beginning to forget why the Hannah Montana secret was created in the first place. When Hannah Montana ends up in a paparazzi-captured fight with Tyra Banks over a pair of designer shoes, Miley's father (Billy Ray Cyrus) quietly takes control. Having attempted to reason with her to no avail, Robby Ray tricks Miley into thinking she's going to New York as Hannah to perform when he's really taking her from Los Angeles back home to Crowley Corners, Tennessee. Miley's double life becomes even more complicated when she returns to Crowley Corners. She discovers that a reporter has somehow managed to track Hannah Montana to her hometown and is asking lots of questions of the locals. She also meets up with an old childhood friend, Travis Brody (Lucas Till), and soon finds herself in her first serious romance. When Miley tries to impress Travis by telling him about her friend Hannah Montana, she suddenly finds her alter ego enlisted in a concert fundraiser to help save her hometown's pristine Crowley Meadows from developers. Once again, having taken on more than she can handle, Miley has to call on her best friend, Lilly, and ask her for help. When Lilly finally arrives in Crowley Corners pretending to be Hannah Montana, events really spin out of control.
Il Caso Dell'infedele Klara

Luca è un musicista ed insegnante di musica che vive a Praga da 5 anni e ha una relazione con Klara studentessa vicina alla laurea. Il giovane è decisamente geloso del tutor della ragazza, Pavel, e decide di rivolgersi a un'agenzia investigativa. Denis, il titolare sposato con una donna che ha palesi rapporti con altri uomini, si mette al lavoro con l'aiuto dell'assistente Nina. Non scopre nulla a favore della tesi del tradimento e occulta quei dettagli che potrebbero involontariamente favorire l'ossessione di Luca. Il ragazzo però non riesce più a credere a ciò che Klara gli dice e rischia di rompere definitivamente il rapporto con lei. Roberto Faenza nutre da sempre un rapporto intenso con la letteratura. In questa occasione si ispira a un romanzo di Michal Viewegh che gli offre l'occasione di lavorare su una serie di elementi che lo appassionano. Si regala ad esempio la possibilità di mostrare un aspetto diverso di Laura Chiatti e l'attrice è abile nel mettersi a disposizione con un'aderenza al personaggio capace di adattarsi alle volute variazioni di stile della narrazione. È poi senza dubbio curioso e interessante, ad esempio, che (così come in I giorni dell'abbandono) uno dei protagonisti maschili sia un musicista estremamente sensibile e attento alle 'vibrazioni' degli strumenti. La sensibilità paziente che dimostra verso le possibili elaborazioni sul pentagramma non si trasforma però nella capacità di trovare una varietà di toni sulla corda tesa della sua ossessione. Lì sa produrre una sola nota di cui l'unica variante è data dall'intensità . Nel rapporto con il piccolo allievo fisarmonicista sembra quasi voler cercare una risposta alla mono-tonia del suo esistere. Si trova poi a confrontarsi con chi crede di avere annullato il sentimento della gelosia grazie a quella che pensa sia un'apertura mentale pacificatoria: Denis, l'investigatore psicologo. Costui, complice delle relazioni extraconiugali della moglie, non si rende conto (o, meglio, tenta di farlo) di avere solamente cercato di mettere la sordina a uno strumento che altrimenti produrrebbe a sua volta delle note che lui ritiene sgradevoli. Sono due uomini deboli perché inizialmente incapaci di accettarsi e di lavorare su di sé. La tecnologia li aiuta a rendere vicino ciò che è distante finendo col fagocitare Luca mentre Denis la domina riuscendo a non farsene possedere. Così come la sua partner operativa Nina (la ben ritrovata Kierston Wareing lanciata da Ken Loach in In questo mondo libero) che, forse perché anche madre, non ha rinunciato alla sensualità ma sa viverla in modo maturo, con la consapevolezza che i luoghi comuni su uomini e donne conservano una parte di vero ma la complessità della vita non può mai consentire di assolutizzarli.
Journey To The Center Of The Earth (Viaggio Al Centro Della Terra)

Traveling through never-before-seen worlds, the trio comes face-to-face with surreal and unimaginable creatures - including man-eating plants, giant flying piranha, glow birds and terrifying dinosaurs from days past. The adventurers soon realize that as volcanic activity increases around them, they must find a way back to the Earth's surface before it is too late.
