You can flash an image over the network (using FTP and Telnet).

Coolstream Image Flash Assistant - Beta

Now that more people are interested in a tool with which you can easily flash an image of Pc from the Coolstream, I sometimes put on it and programmed the first Flash Wizard Coolstream.

With this you can flash any image desired by the network.

It is, however, for the time being a beta version and also completely upgradeable, but he first met his needs.

Therefore, their use at your own risk and errors in the first Version can not be excluded.


Coolstream Flash Image Wizard 1.0 Beta

The Flash Wizard is a tool for Coolstream HD-1.

He ermögtlicht flashing an image over the network (using FTP and Telnet).

Just the IP Coolstream, FTP username, FTP password and specify the image location.
Start by clicking on "flash" will start the flash process.

Warning: On an image change all the settings, such as Settings lost! Therefore, back up data before!


Windows based upon this, NET.Framework is needed.

Nachdem nun vermehrt Leute an einem Tool interessiert sind, mit dem man bequem ein Image vom Pc aus auf die Coolstream flashen kann, habe ich mich mal dran gesetzt und den ersten Flashassistenten für die Coolstream programmiert.

Mit diesem kann man jedes gewünschte Image per Netzwerk flashen.

Er ist allerdings vorerst eine Beta Version und auch noch durchaus ausbaufähig, aber er erfüllt zunächst seine Zwecke.

Deshalb ist auch die Benutzung auf eigene Gefahr und Fehler sind in der 1. Version auch nicht auszuschließen.

Bitte lest die ReadMe für weitere Info's.

Ich würde mich freuen, wenn ihr Fehler meldet oder Verbesserungsvorschläge abgebt, denn der Assistent soll weiterentwickelt werden

Fixes in version 2.0

- Offers Flash now 3 speeds, is still not optimal, is working on an automatic transmission. If you have a slow network (eg weak WLAN) you should always choose the "slow".

- The image is automatically renamed mtd2.img, so the Coolstream has no problem to flash that image.

- Added percentage display.

- The console will now start minimized and closes automatically upon completion of the flash process.

- Improvements in the Browse window "

- A problem with a message box has been fixed.

- The progress bar has been revised.
