Hi All,
I purchased a one year subscription for a C line from who I understood had an excellent server and had been recommended to me by a member of this forum. I will give no names at this time as I really want to give them the benefit of doubt.
However, I purchased the C line and looked forward to watching the TV channels that had been promised to me. When I received the C line, I was very disappointed as it would not clear the channels, but before I contacted the seller, I checked and treble checked that I had entered the correct details that I was given into the STB. Incidently, my STB is a Spiderbox 9000HD and I had not experienced any problems with any C lines working on my STB. The last C line I had was from this forum for making donations and it worked great with no freezing.
I contacted the supplier of the C line who suggested that it may be my STB that was at fault as he had many subscribers and the server was working 100%. So I checked and rebooted my STB, rebooted my router and triple checked the C line details were input correctly, but it would not clear any channels. So I got a free C line for testing before purchasing from a supplier I found on the internet. The C line works fine and opens all channels. I informed my supplier of this and a substitute line was sent to me. This substitute C line eventually cleared channels, but the freezing made it impossible to watch the TV. The providers name looked suspect and the ECM was over 2000 most of the time and I am convinced it was one of those free C lines that you see on the internet but only try it once because they simply are no good. I informed the seller and he said it was only a test, but he has said nothing about the C line that I purchased apart from telling me that he is an honest man and has no reason to lie !! But I fear that the C line recommended to me by the forum member and puchased by me on his recommendation is none existance and that I have been scammed.
Has anyone any thoughts or advice on this matter?
Regards,
Beekay
