TV Land Introduces 'Tool Time' With Marathon The Week Of Jan. 4
After Stunt, TIm Allen-Starring Sitcom Assumes Weeknight Timeslot On Jan. 11

It's Tool Time For TV Land in the new year.
The MTVN service will hammer home the point that it's now the home for the Tim Allen sitcom, beginning with a week-long marathon on Jan.4 at 8 p.m. (ET/PT).The programming stunt sets up Tool Time, which will assume its regular weeknight timeslot on TV Land on Jan. 11 at 9 p.m.
The marathon begins with the pilot on Jan. 4 at 8 p.m., and continues with TV Land screening six, half-hour episodes nightly next week through 11 p.m., save for a pair of installments on Jan. 8 in the 8 p.m. hour.
In addition to Allen, who stars as the accident-prone tool show host "Tim Taylor," ABC's hit Tool Time featuresd "Jill" (Patricia Richardson) and sons "Brad" (Zachary Ty Bryan), "Randy" (Jonathan Taylor Thomas) and "Mark" (Taran Noah Smith), as well as Tim's partner and best friend "Al" (Richard Karn). The series also included the Taylors' neighbor, "Wilson" (Earl Hindman), and "Tool Time Girls" (Pamela Anderson and later Debbe Dunning).

"Men and women alike love to watch with Tim Allen's lovingly know-it-all character on the show because they either know someone just like him...or they are married to him."
