ProSiebenSat.1 launches HD+ trial
German TV group ProSiebenSat.1 has commenced high-definition test transmissions of its free-to-air channels Sat.1, ProSieben and kabel eins using the HDTV platform HD+ operated by SES Astra.
The channels use the frequency 11.464 GHz H (SR 22,000, FEC 2/3) on Astra (19.2° East) which German travel shopping channel sonnenklar.TV occupied in analogue until the end of last year. The channel can now only be received in digital via Astra
