DigiTurk wins soccer tender

Turkey's pay-TV operator DigiTurk has secured exclusive rights for the nation's Turkcell Super League soccer games.
The tender results see DigiTurk holding onto the TV rights for the next 4 seasons, beginning this coming winter.
Their bid was $321m for Package A. DigiTurk has held the rights for the past 8 seasons, and form the bedrock of its subscriber package. DigiTurk has 2.3m subs in total, with 800,000 subscribing to the broadcaster's Lig TV bundle.
NTV, Dogan TV and public broadcaster TRT were all rival bidders.
