Reelzchannel Reels In FiOS Carriage Deal

Reelzchannel said it's signed a video-on-demand programming distribution deal with Verizon's FiOS TV.
The Hubbard Media-owned channel's VOD content consists of 2- to 4-minute segments about movies, focusing on the top 10-12 VOD titles in a given month, which providers can use as part of their VOD promotions. FiOS offers about 18,000 monthly titles, including 2,800 in high-definition, the companies said.
In a release, Terry Denson, VP of content strategy and acquisition for Verizon, said: "We are always looking to add new, informative content to our VOD platform, and Reelzchannel will give our FiOS TV customers 24/7 access to an interesting look into the movies."
