French cable operator Numéricable is taking advantage of its free digital terrestrial offer to hook up homes to more of their services. The cabler is now rolling out free-to-view access to all DVB-T channels on its network.
People can watch these channels with a DVB-T tuner when connecting to cable without the need for a subscription to any other service. But since these homes are connected to cable, Numéricable is now marketing what we can call “DTT Playâ€. At EUR 19.90 a month people will get broadband internet access with speeds up to 30 Mbps and unlimited fixed line calling. For EUR 24.90, people can get speeds up to 100 Mbps.
The operator is also offering an extended package, for EUR 29.90 monthly people will receive the Prima bouquet with 120 TV channels plus a Canal+ Week-end subscription.
