More TV sport for Bulgaria

The Bulgarian national commercial broadcaster Nova TV plans to launch a new sports channel in the first half of this year.
Known as New Sport and distributed by cable and satellite, it will replace the music channel MM currently operated by the company.
According to Novinite, Nova TV already holds the rights to the Champions League, Premier League, FA Cup and English national team’s domestic matches, with its football coverage being found on the Diema and Diema 2 channels.
Significantly, it is reported that CME, which recently acquired the leading Bulgarian station bTV from News Corp, also plans to launch a sports channel in Bulgaria
