technomate 6800hd patch

hi, can anyone give me some assistance please. i have installed a patch. it shows as 7.04p (31 jan 2011) in menue.i have tried lots of keys, but nothing works. is this patch out of date? i am using firefox and 7 zip to unzip. i have formatted the usb stick, but all in vain. anyone mind giving me some pointers? it would be appreciated. thanks
