Duccio Donati has expanded his role at Comcast International Media Group with a promotion to executive vice president.
Reporting to Kevin MacLellan, president of CIMG and Comcast Entertainment Productions, Donati takes over CIMG's day-to-day responsibilities, including direct reports and oversight of the international division's properties E! Entertainment Television, The Style Network, Versus, Golf Channel and G4.

Donati's role expands beyond being responsible for programming sales and new media for CIMG's programming assets to include management of all international channel properties in the areas of distribution, business development, finance and operations. MacLellan, who supervises him, recently added the management of Comcast Entertainment Productions to his responsibilities.

"Duccio has been an integral part of CIMG's growth strategy and has helped fuel our impressive growth over the past decade," MacLellan said in a release. "His incredibly strong relationships with our global clients and leadership skills make him the perfect choice to lead CIMG's activities. I'm delighted to recognize him with this important promotion."

Donati first joined the company as sales executive in 1999 and since then, he has played a key role in making CIMG one of the fastest growing divisions of Comcast. He has led the company's international sales division expanding its presence with local offices in London and Hong Kong and growing global distribution of Comcast content to over one billion homes internationally.

Since becoming SVP in 2008, Donati also took over responsibility for CIMG's new media efforts overseeing the successful launch of E! Online in the UK, Australia, France, Germany and Italy.

CIMG programming is seen in more than 160 countries.
