British satellite package BFBS change?

Belonging to the British army BFBS package which is designed for the UK soldiers stationed in many countries, is likely to soon change the position of a satellite. The package reported on Eutelsat's W2A satellite (10E). Consisting of the same set of TV and radio stations, which is transmitted for many years by satellite Eutelsat W3A (7E).


On the Eutelsat W2A satellite (10E), was used with parameters C6 transponder 11.222 GHz, pol. V, SR: 27500, FEC: 2 / 3. The position of Eutelsat W3A (7E), the transfer takes place on the tp. C6 (11,324 GHz, pol. V, SR: 27500, FEC: 2 / 3). Should pass, that in the next few months, the whole of the UK package will only put in position 10E.

The package looks for a 10 BFBS TV services and 15 radio channels (not all fit!). Most of the offers (mainly that television) system is encoded in Cryptoworks.

BFBS British package is addressed mainly to the English soldiers, who take on missions such as in Iraq or Afghanistan. For example, soldiers stationed in Canada, gives the BFBS satellite NSS 806 (40.5W) in the C band (4GHz).

Note that package up BFBS Major broadcasters in the islands, such as the BBC, ITV, Sky, Channel 4 and Five.
