Fox films for Ziggo VOD

20th Century Fox films and Dutch cable operator Ziggo have signed an agreement for the on-demand portal. Fox movies will become available in Full HD with Dolby Surround.
The initial offer includes Ice Age: Dawn Of The Dinosaurs, 500 Days Of Summer, The Devil Wears Prada and X-Men. Later on, recent blockbusters Avatar and Amelia will be added.
At the moment, Ziggo has 1.4 million digital homes out of their total reach of 3.2 million connected households. However, only a minority of all digital homes have VOD-capable set-top boxes; the majority are cable zapper boxes.
