National Geographic Channels International has secured carriage for Nat Geo Wild HD on the Nova DTH platform on Greece.

“Since Nat Geo Wild’s launch in 2006, the channel has enjoyed tremendous success as it launches throughout key markets, and NGCI is pleased to capitalise on this momentum by offering a first-class viewing experience in HD in Greece,” said Jesús Perezagua, President, Fox International Channels Europe.

The channel’s debut line-up includes: Secrets Of The Mediterranean: Cousteau’s Lost World, a profile following National Geographic Explorer Enric Sala and Jacques Cousteau’s son Pierre-Yves as they launch an expedition around the Mediterranean Sea; and Lion Ranger, featuring animal behaviourist Kevin Richardson (pictured) and lions in South Africa; and Cuba.

In addition to Nat Geo Wild HD, four other channels from National Geographic Channels International are available in Greece: National Geographic Channel, National Geographic Channel HD, Nat Geo Wild and Nat Geo Music.
