How to install Smargo on DM7020 with Gemini image & CCcam:

software you need
1 smartreader_v103 zip
2 Dreambox control center by bernyR (DDC

unzip software above

1. Insert Smartreader into PC, let Windows detect if neccessary. then direct add new hardware wizard
to Drivers_Windows folder in smartreader_v103 folder

2. Run Smartreader.exe in smartreader_v103 folder. Set Kernel to "Dreambox" click Apply, remove Smartreader.

3. Install drivers to Dreambox, I used DCC for this:
Open DCC, click "Tools" "IPKG Packages" "Upload package"
Browse for the file: kernel-module-usbserial_2.6.9-r9_dm7020.ipk and let it instal
Browse for the file: kernel-module-ftdi-sio_2.6.9-r9_dm7020.ipk and let it instal

4. Edit bootup file:
Use DCC, click "FTP" browse to /etc/init.d, right click on "bootup" file click "Edit"
Scroll to the bottom and add the line: modprobe ftdi_sio , Click "Save and Exit"

5. Configure CCcam:
Use DCC, click "FTP" browse to /etc, right click on "CCcam.cfg" file click "Edit"
Cut/Paste the following lines, at the top of the page:

SERIAL READER : /dev/usb/tts/0 smartreader+
SERIAL READER : /dev/usb/tts/1 smartreader+
SERIAL READER : /dev/usb/tts/2 smartreader+
SERIAL READER : /dev/usb/tts/3 smartreader+
SERIAL READER : /dev/usb/tts/4 smartreader+
SERIAL READER : /dev/usb/tts/5 smartreader+
SERIAL READER : /dev/usb/tts/6 smartreader+

Click "Save and Exit"

6. Shut down Dreambox, plug in Smartreader(s), Power on.

Check CCcam Info "Entitlements" to see card slots.
Any number up to 7 in a USB Hub can be used at any one time ;-)
