HowTo: Canal Digitaal/NOVA CY auf Dreambox & Co
This methode isnt very new , but I have even though made this detailed HowTo get C+ working on a Linuxbox
.
What you need :
- a PC, allways online
- dbox2 / Dreambox / q-Box One
- a working network
- Unix-Editor
- KEYS.BIN
- Fausto 1.43
- eine Schachtel Zigaretten
- enjoy a Beer or coffee (afterwards)
- some time
Prepairments
1. Fausto 1.43 install
2. If needed, change langues "your_langues" (default is English ):
---> Settings -> Language -> your_languess.sil click it -> Open
3. Download latest Satfreaks Diablo-KEYS.BIN :

4. Load KEYS.BIN in Fausto :
---> Tools -> Emulator -> and there below "Monitor" put the path to KEYS.BIN
her download key.bin
5. In "Server" -> "Configuration" open FaustoServers.cfg
Here exchange all the datas :
N: 192.168.1.3 18000 0102030405060708091011121314 {0604/000001}
N: 192.168.1.3 19000 0102030405060708091011121314 {0622/000000}Dont put more or less there . Adjust, the Channel ID and the Provider with This symbols { } . At last "Save" the changes .
To understand :
192.168.1.3 = is the IP-Adress of PC
6001 = one open TCP-Port in Router
0622 = Channel ID for C+ NL
00000 = user Provider of C+ NL
U: dummy dummy = the choosed User & Pass for server access to Fausto
on clients ( also on the box ) add following lines depended on your EMU
CCcam (CCcam.cfg in /var/etc)
N: 192.168.1.3 18000 dummy dummy 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14
N: 192.168.1.3 19000 dummy dummy 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14
R: 192.168.1.3 12500 0604 000001
R: 192.168.1.3 13000 0622 000000
L: 192.168.1.3 15000 dummy dummy 0604 000001
L: 192.168.1.3 16000 dummy dummy 0622 000000
When this is added, open Fausto und load the Server in "Server" --> "Manager".
After that you have clicked "Load" , load Server with "Start" .
When this is done, tes eg. CCcam connection to Fausto .
Check if user is shown in the CCcamlog:
