It is possible to connect the ariva to an oscam/cccam server as described here.....
This method works well. It effectively makes the ariva a cccam client. The latest version of oscam works best.(Earlier oscam versions were prone to freezes) The following is an example of the the configuration I am using.
oscam/cccam 2.1.3 downloaded from the sifteam panel on an ip250s as the cccam server. ( Replaced oscam with latest version.)
I added the following to oscam.conf
[newcamd]
port = 11500@0D03:000000;11501@0919:000000
key = 0102030405060708091011121314
.....0D03 is my local in ip250 and 0919 is a cccam peer caid.
I added a user to oscam.user
[account]
user = ariva
pwd = xxxxx
I added two servers to oscam.svr
internal reader
[reader]
label = myinternalreader
protocol = internal
device = /dev/sci0
group = 1
caid = 0d03
remote
[reader]
label = remote
protocol = cccam
device = 127.0.0.1,12000
account = user , pass
group = 1
I added F: Line to cccam.cfg for remote reader... F: user,pass
In the ariva navigate through the network menu and select newcamd client. There enter the relevant information... ie ip address of server, in my case 192.168.1.xx, then the ports to communicate on, in my case 11500 and 11501, the user name and password, ariva xxxx.
