Dubai Studio City chief to keynote CABSAT forum

Jamal Al Sharif, executive director at Dubai Studio City, will deliver a keynote speech entitled ‘Meeting the Demand for HD Broadcasting in the Middle East’ at the CABSAT Broadcasting Conference.

“The Middle East broadcasting industry is now looking at new technologies to drive towards a fully-integrated digital broadcasting platform," said Al Sharif.

"The move for enhanced digital broadcasting standards will eventually bring down operational costs and make services more competitive by offering an improved consumer experience. We are delighted to participate in this year’s event and highlight eight of our business partners. We believe the event will prove beneficial to them and the industry in general.”

The CABSAT MENA 2010 Broadcasting Conference will address key issues including new means of providing greater value in the market while meeting the growing demands of audiences, both from within the MENA and other parts of the world.

The conference will provide a platform for broadcasters and allied industry players to share experiences on HD services.

Dubai Studio City (DSC) will host eight business partners at its pavilion this year including Tower Media FZ LLC (Al Aan TV), First Media FZ LLC (Sama TV), Broadcast Middle East FZ LLC (Pharsi 1), National Broadcast Centre FZ LLC (Decision Makers TV), NDTV Middle East Ventures FZ LLC, E-motion FZ LLC, Omnio Technology FZ LLC and Media Nucleus FZ LLC.
