Al Jazeera Children’s Channel has launched Taalam.TV, claimed to be the first Arab language VOD portal for schools and teachers.

Al Jazeera Children’s Channel (JCC) is extremely well-funded by the Qatar Foundation. Taalam.TV is described as a complementary tool for teachers and students.

He added that Taalam.TV is an ongoing collaborative project between the Qatar Foundation, JCC and the Arab educational communities with the aim of providing children, “the citizens of tomorrow”, a better education.
