fashiontvReports from India say that Fashion TV was pulled from the airwaves on March 12 because of alleged nudity in its transmissions. The transmission in question was a replay of the late Alexander McQueen’s catwalk show.

The channel will be off the air for 9 days, starting March 12, and reports say it will only be permitted to transmit after 7pm.

India’s broadcasting regulator said the channel showed "women with nude upper body which was offending against good taste and decency," adding "the visuals were found to be obscene, denigrating women and were not suitable for children and unrestricted public exhibition.”
