Microsoftov veliki odgovor na internetske preglednike iz Mozille, Googlea i Opere napokon je dostupan, doduÅ¡e tek u preliminarnoj verziji â€" Internet Explorer 9 Platform Preview. Moguće ga je skinuti sa službenih stranica, a donosi brojne novosti. Vjerojatno je najzanimljiviji novi JavaScript engine Chakra, koji je bitno brži od onoga u IE8. Ipak, prema prvim testovima, negdje je u sredini po izvođenju JavaScripta u usporedbi s enginima drugih preglednika.

Chakra po prvi puta omogućava izvođenja JavaScripta u Internet Exploreru u odvojenoj dretvi, odnosno na posebnoj procesorskoj jezgri, ako je dostupna.

Hardverska akceleracija se koristi za prikaz teksta, grafike i SVG grafike, a prolazi dosta dobro i na testu kompatibilnosti ACID 3, gdje je dosegao 55 od 100, nešto što je bilo posve nedohvatljivo za IE8.

ko ima win 7 nek je downloduje i pokrene i nadogradit če se na staru verziju IE kao Windows Update
tad restart računala i vidit čete razliku .čudo od Microsofta..
