French court rules against TF1 suspension

France's highest court, the Council of State, has rejected a request by broadcaster M6 to suspend rival TF1’s acquisition of the TMC and NT1 DTT channels.

M6 had referred the deal to the Council of State after France’s antitrust body and the media regulator CSA had approved it. The court will publish its final decision before the end of 2010.
