Sigma Designs pre-integrates chipset platform with Espial TV browser

Espial®, a leader in On-Demand TV software and solutions, today announced a partnership with Sigma Designs. To allow device manufacturers to achieve rapid to time-to-market, Espial and Sigma Designs have pre-integrated Espial TV Browser version 6.0 and Adobe Flash on Sigma Design chipset reference platforms.

Espial TV Browser (based on WebKit) is pre-integrated with Sigma reference platforms and includes support for Adobe Flash, Flash video and HTML5 Video.

The combined solution reduces project risk and shortens time to market for device manufactures with: out-of-box availability, unmatched performance, excellent stability, and rapid time-to-market.
