Copying contents of an AZ-america box

Anyone know if its possible to copy the contents (/var, etc. if they exist?) of an AZ-america box.

I want to have an internal look at the setup on a friends box to see if I can reproduce in on a Dreambox.

I have a NULL cable. The S806 AZ-america does not have an internet connection - just RS232 and a USB slot.
