Quotewebradio ALPHA1 22/06/2010
for Octagon 10x8
by maxodil

contact: maxodil on octagon.gmc.to

CAUTION:
THIS IS A VERY EARLY ALPHA VERSION!
LEST THE LIMITATIONS AND PLEASE UNDERSTAND YOU.

TESTED WITH FW 10826th

Requirements:
================
Octagon depends on the network (LAN or WLAN) and the Internet can

Installation:
=============
Installation is done like any other plugin.
(Copy plugin directory on a USB plug, the Octagon).

Channel settings are
/ Var / etc / webradio.cfg

It works only MP3 music platforms (no WMA, no ogg). Currently, only
9 transmitter.

Logs can see here:
tail-f / tmp / fritzmon.log

Operation:
==========
Plugin start. Then nothing happened only once. After the start is
you have a WebRadio.mp3 on the plate of the Octagon. This simple please
(Play like any other mp3 file).
After a few seconds launches the web radio. After another 10 seconds
should hear it the first station.

Limitations:
=============
Since we have no rational Plugin interface for media playback,
is this the media player plugin tricked. There arise
following limitations, which we probably have to live:
- Something strange start procedure (via reproduction of the WebRadio.mp3)
- The playback display in the media player displays nonsense
- If the stream falters from the Internet, possibly tearing the playback
from. You must then restart the playback of WebRadio.mp3.
- Does not show song title, artist, etc.
- The stream ends up while playing on the plate (only einigee MB)
- It is must be there only in an Octagon with disk (/ STORAGE and HDD).

Other limits of this version:
- Max 9 Channel
- The user interface is possibly directly to keystrokes
("Blocking UI")
- The stations in the webradio.cfg must refer directly to the stream
(No m3u, etc, if necessary; m3u open with text editor and extract the URL).
