Update 3.1 for HDF team Octagon Image v3
The update can be installed over a number of ways.

Facility 1
The easiest way is to update via the menu - Settings - Software Manager - Software.

2nd chance
The IPK and download via FTP to the root copy of Enigma.
Then install on the menu - Settings - Software manager - extensions.

Possible 3
The IPK and download via FTP to the root copy of Enigma.
Then log in via telnet and enter the following:
ipkg install /enigma2-plugin-updater-hdfreaks_3.1_sh4.ipk
After the update, the box does an automatic reboot.

The following changes the update brings:
- Fixed Network.
- Updated and debugged web interface.
- HDF Toolbox 0.6.1 (Extra Settings menu).
- Mount Manager with jfs fix for hard drives formatted in the original firmware.
- Updated rcS (which is why the reboot after the update)

Update 3.2 for HDF team OCTAGON Image v3 from 01.03.2010


On the addon server is an upgrade to version 3.2 of HDF E2 image.
The update can be installed over a number of ways.

Facility 1
The easiest way is to update via the menu - Settings - Software Manager - Software.

2nd chance
The IPK and download via FTP to the root copy of Enigma.
Then install on the menu - Settings - Software manager - extensions.

Possible 3
The IPK and download via FTP to the root copy of Enigma.
Then log in via telnet and enter the following:



ipkg install / enigma2-plugin-updater-hdfreaks_3.2_sh4.ipk


Be restarted after the update, the box.
The update can be installed on the HDFreaks Image 3.0 and 3.1.

The following changes the update brings:
- Permanent timeshift completely revised.
- Current kernel and modules.
- Mount Manager with JFS, please check and automount (still testing a bissel and provide feedback).
- HDF Toolbox 0.6.2 with some new settings.
- DTS downmix selected in the HDF toolbox.
- Autostart Network Fix the EMUs (now do not need a reboot).
- Fix audio.
- Fix CIFS mount (Network Browser and release managers can now work).


NOTE for users of the IMZ images.
After the update has changed at the Fat partition on a USB drive is essential to the uImage.
The box can not be otherwise when the modules start to load.
The uImage can easily be overridden on a Windows PC.




Notices Permanent timeshift:
- Multiple events are subsequently saved as movies.
- When switching the current shift as a movie can be recorded and also add in the background.
- With the pause / fast forward / rewind to get into the time shift mode.
- Use fast forward / rewind / pause buttons or left / right to use / ok to.
- Stop terminates the timeshift mode and go into the back LiveTV (Timeshift is running in the background).
