How to Disable Plugin-container.exe to Free up Memory in Firefox
Firefox is a popular web browser and used by many people due to its fast browsing performance. The latest version of Firefox allocates memory separately for the add-ons so that the browser does not crash if any plugin or add-on stops responding. The plugin-container.exe takes extra memory allocation, which makes the browser slow. In this article I have mentioned some steps to disable plugin-container.exe, which will result in fast browsing.

1) Type about:config in the browser address bar and then press “Enter”.

2) Now click on “I will be careful, I promise”.
3) Type dom.ipc in the filter bar and you will find the following entries listed below.

4) Right-click on each entries and click Toggle,in order to change the boolean values except the last one. By this the value will be toggled from True to False.

5) Once you have changed the values, the entries will look like this:

6) That’s it now it’s done. Now the boolean values will be False except the first and last entries.

When everything is completed, close the Firefox and restart it to see the change. Press Alt + Ctrl + Del to launch the task manager. Now there will be no plugin-container.exe process in the task manager.
