Digital TV: Novabase creates company in France

The Portuguese company Novabase created a company in the French region of Normandy, dedicated to research and development (R & D) of technologies for the area of Digital TV. Benefiting from an investment of 600,000 euros by the end of the year and 1.2 million euros in 2011, Novabase Digital TV EURL will work initially with seven professionals, which can reach 12 people by the end of 2010. According to the statement of Novabase, the basis for creating this company was recruiting a highly specialized team of Trident Microsystems, the market leader in digital entertainment and residential Novabase partner in the development of chip-on-Board and System-in- Package. Novabase is one of the companies most at European level in order to introduce new offerings of digital TV, operating particularly in the area of High Definition TV and the provision of TV content on mobile devices / laptops.
