UPC Polska has extended its VOD service to the tri-city of Gdansk, Gdynia and Sopot, along with Ruma and Starogard Gdanski.

The service offers digital subscribers over 240 movies, some of which are in HD, from such leading studios as Warner Bros, Paramount and Walt Disney Pictures, along with the distributors Monolith and Syrena Films. Some titles are made available free of charge and others, for the first time, offered in packages at reduced rates.

The latter include the five-part Harry Potter series, available as a package until June 19. UPC Polska’s VOD service is also offered to digital subscribers in Warsaw and will be next introduced in Katowice.

It should be accessible to 75% of all UPC digital subscribers in Poland by the end of the year.
