Cablevisión Mexico, MSO owned by Televisa Group, closed 2010 with about 669,000 Pay-TV subscribers, that is, an annual 5% growth as compared with the 632,000 users recorded in December 2009. As compared with 3Q2010, the company increased its base with 6,684 new subscribers, which accounted for a 1% increase.

In 2010, Cablevisión added about 37,000 Pay-TV subscribers. Among its products, the company offers more than 25 HD channels in addition to DVR and VOD. In turn, Cablevisión closed 2010 with almost 300,000 high speed Internet subscribers and over 190,000 digital telephony clients. According to what the company discloses in its web page, its network, which operates in the city of Mexico and the Metropolitan area, is 100% digital and covers more than 1,5 million households. Cablevisión digitalized its operation with Motorola.

The company has recently settled in advance a USD 225 million loan granted in December 2007 by J.P. Morgan Chase Bank. In the Mexican Pay-TV market, Cablevisión competes with other Televisa Group's companies like Cablemás, TVI and Sky, and with operators Megacable and Dish Mexico, among others.
