Cyfrowy Polsat starts catch-up

The leading Polish DTH platform Cyfrowy Polsat has launched a new catch-up TV service. Delivered over the internet, Strefa Wideo gives its existing subscribers access to the most popular programmes, some in HD, from 20 channels.

The channels, which include six proprietary services, two from National Geographic, MTV, Nickelodeon and Extreme Sports Channel, are accessible through the Cyfrowy Polsat site or ipla application.

Catch-up content on Stefa Wideo is not limited to that just a few days old.

Cyfrowy Polsat has indicated it plans to launch a paid-for VoD service delivered over the internet later this year.
