Distributor E1 Entertainment
Distributor E1 Entertainment has struck a deal with Beyond Entertainment as part of a plan to expand into Australia and New Zealand.
The North American company, which also has operations in the UK and Benelux, will release DVD titles under the E1 banner via Beyond Home Entertainment in the antipodean territories.
E1 president of filmed entertainment Patrice Theroux said the deal created a "foundation for growth in Australia and New Zealand," where the company would also handle its own sales to digital outlets and local TV networks.
TV titles due for DVD release via the Beyond arrangement include E1's own productions Kenny vs Spenny, CBS show The Bridge, ABC series Copper and Syfy series Haven. E1 kids' titles Peppa Pig and Tractor Tom are also on the slate.
