Kino Polska TV has announced plans to go public, adding that it expects to make between PLN36-40 million (€9-10 million) from its first offer.

Book building has already closed and the final allocation of shares will take place this Thursday (March 31).

Kino Polska TV’s goal is to become the leading player in the premium TV market in Central and Eastern Europe.

It is hoped the funding it obtains from the offer will not only help it develop its existing activities – it currently produces and distributes Kino Polska Television, as well as TV channels from the FilmBox Group – but also introduce new thematic channels.

The latter will include Kino Polska HD, Kino Polska Muzyka and Kino Polska Nostalgia and the FilmBox channels FilmBox Action HD, FashionBox HD and FightBox HD.

Kino Polska TV posted revenues of PLN47 million and a net profit of PLN9 million in 2010.

The company has a presence in Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania and Spain and plans to expand to other markets.
