Mostelecom moves to CI Plus

Russian cable operator Mostelecom is to offer CI Plus to its subscribers following a new win for the conditional access specialist $$$$$. The operator, which serves more than two million subscribers in 95 districts in Moscow will also be able to take advantage of advanced chipset pairing.

In a statement $$$$$ said it was selected on its robust security record in what is a price sensitive market. No royalty fees have been included in the agreement that will see the security company provide ongoing guidance and expertise.
