Dreambox DM7020 HD
Auch der Prototyp der DM7020 HD - in Köln waren Gehäuse und Innenleben nur getrennt zu sehen - besitzt einen HDMI-Ausgang sowie ein OLED-Display. Diese Dreambox wird mit einem DVB-S2-Tuner ausgeliefert, besitzt aber einen Steckplatz für einen weiteren Plug&Play-Tuner.
In die DM7020 HD kann eine 3,5''-SATA-Festplatte eingebaut werden. Drei USB-Anschlüsse stehen zur Verfügung. Außerdem ist die Dreambox mit zwei CI-Slots ausgestattet. Die Features ähneln ansonsten der DM800 HD se: 400 MHz, Ethernet, zwei Smartcard-Reader, eSATA-Port, S/P-DIF. Die DM7020 HD soll im vierten Quartal 2010 auf den Markt kommen, ein Preis steht noch nicht fest.

Am Stand von Dream Multimedia waren die beiden neuen Linux-basierten HDTV-Dreamboxen erstmals live zu sehen. Die kleine DM800 HD se verfügt über einen neuen DVB-S2-Tuner sowie einen leistungsfähigeren Broadcom-Chipsatz mit 400-Megahertz-MIPS-Prozessor, der auch in der DM500 HD arbeitet. Auperdem stehen 64 Megabyte Flash- und 256 Megabyte RAM-Speicher zur Verfügung.
Neben einem zweiten Smartcard-Reader besitzt sie statt eines DVI-Ports einen HDMI-Ausgang ohne HDCP-Verschlüsselung. Weitere Anschlüsse sind 2x USB 2.0, 1x Scart, ein S/P-DIF-Ausgang für Digital Bitstream Out und eSATA für externe Festplatten. Intern ist Platz für eine 2,5''-SATA-Platte. Ethernet ist eingebaut, WLAN wird via USB optional unterstützt.
Neu bei der "Second Edition" der DM800 HD auch ist das farbige OLED-Display. Die kompakte Box mit den Maßen 225 x 150 x 45 Millimeter kommt Ende Juli/Anfang August für UVP 499 Euro auf den Markt.
