ZDF returns to the Hot Bird satellite after finishing the World Cup

The reason for the temporary cessation of the second German public broadcaster in the Eutelsat satellite positioned at 13 degrees East was none other than not infringe the rights to broadcast the World Cup.

And that coverage is provided by Eutelsat Hot Bird 6 in areas like the Middle East and North Africa had forced ZDF to stop their broadcasts for a month.

While the World Cup played in South Africa until July 11, ZDF in the satellite Hot Bird 6 was replaced by Neo ZDF on the same frequency of 11 054 MHz-H (DVB-S, MPEG-2, SR 27 500 , FEC 5 / 6), also open.

Once the World Cup, ZDF is back again with their emissions through the Hot Bird 6.

Who has not returned to their broadcasts on the same satellite is the other German public channel ARD, Hot Bird, who has already announced its termination of this orbital position.
