UltimateFlashRecovery 910 rev 0.998 by SoLaLa

wie ich schon sagte wollte ich nen paar SchÃ¶nheitskorrekturen machen und bin dabei noch Ã¼ber die Frage der MACadresse gestolpert... da ich das ganze in dieser Version (noch) als reines Notfallimage sehe wird schlichtweg die Box mit einer Standard MACadresse ethaddr=00:50:fd:ff:12:34 versehen (ich denke aber drÃ¼ber nach, ob man je nach Zustand der Bootargs die MAC und IPadressen retten und nach dem Flashen wieder einfÃ¼gen kann, also vom Programm automatisiert ohne weiteres zutun des Users)

FÃ¼r den Augenblick muÃŸ die entsprechend zur Box gehÃ¶rende MAC noch manuell wieder korrekt gesetzt werden... wenns denn sein muÃŸ.

Was macht das Paket?

1. Es wird die komplette absolut cleane 2.0beta/final von Kathrein geflasht

2. Es wird ein absolut cleanes btcf geflasht (wer btcf nicht kennen sollte: das ist der bootconfigsektor)

3. Die bootconfig hat die korrekten bootargs fÃ¼r 2.0beta und die ethaddr 00:50:fd:ff:12:34

Vorraussetzungen zur Anwendung:

UFS910 ( ja nee... is klar ne? )

PC mit Hyperterminal oder Ã¤hnlichem Programm (binary kermit muÃŸ unterstÃ¼tzt werden)

Nullmodemkabel zwischen PC und UFS910

USBstick, fat32 formatiert, mit Ordnerstruktur /kathrein/ufs910

Vorgehensweise:

1. ufr910.zip downloaden und entpacken

2. die Datei ufr910.img auf den USBstick kopieren in den Ordner /kathrein/ufs910

3. die Datei ufr910.exe irgendwo auf dem PC ablegen wo man sie spÃ¤ter auch wiederfindet

3. Hyperterminal starten, Verbindung Ã¼ber COMx mit &quot;115200, 8, n, 1, kein&quot; herstellen
(diese Einstellungen und Bedienung von HT sind massenweise dokumentiert, weshalb ich hier nicht nÃ¤her darauf eingehe)

4. USBstick an die box stÃ¶pseln, mit Netzschalter einschalten und im Hyperterminal den
Bootvorgang SOFORT durch betÃ¤tigen der <enter>-Taste abbrechen.
Im Hyperterminal bleibt die Box mit dem Prompt STB7100ref> stehen.

5. Folgenden Befehl gefolgt von der <enter>Taste im Hyperterminal eingeben:

loadb a4000000; bootm a4000000

(falls man sich hier vertippt: man kann nix kaputt machen mit evt. falsch eingegeben Zahlen)

6. im Hyperterminal erscheint die Meldung &quot;ready for binary download....&quot;

7. Im Hyperterminal in der Menuleiste auf

-&quot;Ãœbertragen&quot; klicken,

-&quot;Datei senden&quot; auswÃ¤hlen,

- im Popupfenster die Datei ufr910.exe wÃ¤hlen (wo war die doch gleich...???)

- und ganz wichtig: beim Protokoll &quot;Kermit&quot; auswÃ¤hlen und dann auf den <senden>-Button klicken

8. noch ca. 3 1/2 min warten und nix tun bis Bild wieder da ist (mit &quot;Erstinstallation&quot;)
WÃ¤hrend dieser Zeit erscheinen im Display und im Terminal die entsprechenden Fortschrittsmeldungen

9. Am Ende des Vorgangs werden im Hyperterminal 3 checksummen ausgegeben
Alle 3 Checksummen MÃœSSEN identisch sein. Falls sie es nicht sind, bzw. die Box nicht sauber starten sollte,
dann bitte den gesamten Vorgang wiederholen, im Hyperterminal komplett mitloggen und im Forum posten.

Hinweise:

Dieses Paket funktioniert IMMER, wenn zumindest uboot und die serielle Schnittstelle der Box noch heil sind.
MACadresse, IPadresse, zerschossene oder gar vÃ¶llig gelÃ¶schte Bootargs, Firescanner und Virenwalls und all die anderen Problemchen
sind irrelevant und haben keinen EinfluÃŸ auf die Funktion.
Bei der Verwendung von Hyperterminal oder TTerm unter Windows Vista kann es zu Fehlfunktionen bei der Ãœbertragung der ufr910.exe kommen.
Nach der Kermit-Ãœbertragung erscheint dann eine Meldung &quot;bad Magic...&quot; im Terminal (Danke Einstein fÃ¼rs Fehler haben :-) )

Einzige Unbekannte: der USBstick. Wie auch bei allen anderen Stickanwendungen im Zusammenhang mit dem UFS910 MUÃŸ nicht jeder Stick funktionieren.
FÃ¼r diesen Fall erscheint im HT nach der Ãœbertragung des ufr910.exe eine Meldung <INTERRUPT> und der UFS910 startet unverzÃ¼glich neu.
Falls der USBstick zwar erkannt, aber nicht richtig gelesen werden kann, erscheinen im Terminal Meldungen dieser Art:
ERROR: sohci_submit_job: ENOMEM
ERROR: sohci_submit_job failed
In diesem Fall bitte einen (nach MÃ¶glichkeit Ã¤lteren, kleineren) USBstick verwenden, der ganz sicher USB1.1 kompatibel ist

ZukÃ¼nftige Erweiterungen bis zur rev 1.0:
Wiederherstellung MAC-/IPadressen falls noch vorhanden, weitere Notfallimages (1.06, 1.04...),
andere Flashpakete: e2 images, images mit mini-uboot oder 2nd bootloader
(die dann auch einfach direkt geflasht werden kÃ¶nnen ohne Umweg Ã¼ber 3 andere Images),
VOLLBACKUPS flashen (also komplette images incl. Bootargs und mini)

Dieses HowTo verlege ich in der endgÃ¼ltigen Fassung natÃ¼rlich noch mit in das Paket.

I build another program to use Multipart for BA.
It's NOT to replace KCC but we can use this untill VisMan has more time to add multipart to KCC.
It's like BA_help from GOst4711. 
Only we made a few more options.

- Install BA on UFS922 in Flash (with org. image or new E2 flash image)
- Installing a image from Flash / BA / UFS_Image for UFS910 and UFS922.
- Install a image from ../UFS_Images
- Reboot
- delete image
- rename image
- Set Boot image
- drag and drop from UFS_Images to Installed images list
- Copy settings, channels, var, amount.ini from running image 

When installing a image you will be asked to change the name (or keep the name)
The image that is set for boot has a blue color.

usr is nich komplett rw sondern /usr/lib/eniga2/python was alles wichtige enthÃ¤lt was man evtl ma Ã¤ndern oder ergÃ¤nzen mÃ¶chte! bei allem gilt jedoch wie immer:
nich zu voll pappen sonst kÃ¶nnte es platzen und dadruch nicht mehr booten. immer mit df-h nachsehen wieviel platz noch frei ist und immer ein polster von mind 150kb free belassen (muss e2 haben!!!).

fixxes:
-platzer sind nun schwer mÃ¶glich da nun nach /hdd /swap eingebunden wird und das bei fehlender/defekter hdd/stick nur readonly ist und somit nicht beschreibbar!
-bootzeit um ca 10sek verkÃ¼rzt (thx nit)
avibugfix included now! (thx nit)
-neuer eth treiber vor allem cifs optimiert!!! (thx nit)
-hdtv-nfs-recording on vox+kabel1 ok!!!

tdt-changes:
-1080p 25+30hz gehen nun (genial geiles bild!!!) ruckelfrei!!!!
2x grÃ¼n kann man a/v direkt umstellen

Neutrino USB for UFS910 from the git-sh4 of duckbox-project

It is intended to only look for a TV dinner still inadequate.

Tar.gz file extension rename.

Picture and sound available, but unfortunately the picture does not run in sync with the sound.

The first launch will take a while, then it should boot, but significantly less than a minute

Switching is not possible, who will have to take off the power switch to the UFS.

- change path automount.xml to /var/etc/automount
- change check mini U-boot 1.3 installed AND activated.
- add copy bootp/bootp2 to current image
- add save bootp/bootp2 to disk
- add load bootp/bootp2 from disk
- add bootp/bootp2 simple editor
- fix copy auto.misc
- fix bug copy plugins
- copy bluekey only for /var/etc/bluekey
- fix bug copysettings
- fix for settings file and channel list (new rev's)
- add check for Mini U-boot 1.3 installed (can be disabled)
- add new flasch tool for UFS910/UFS922 (thanks to obiwatn76)

Note to new AAF LZMA E2 image:
To install the new AAF NEW LZMA E2 images you need to have Mini U-boot 1.3 installed AND active !!!
If you do install the new AAF NEW LZMA E2 image without Mini U-boot 1.3 your box will NOT boot.
Then you need to install the recovery image.

Note to flashtool:
The new flash tool can flash kim-images and only images.
The difference is that kim-images will change the bootargs to fit the kim-image.
When flashing just a image (without kim file) MPI flash the image but don't change the bootargs.
This can be handy when flashing the same image structure, or you want to set the bootargs your self.

If you have the Kathrein original FW 2.02RC in flash then MPI uses multi part flashing.
This takes a bit longer (sorry, i will later work to improve the upload speed).

Note to Mini:
1. Device name may have max 16 chars !!!
2. when installing a image in miniboot, MPI will copy settings,channels,...if selected !
3. make sure you add the serverip in the mainscreen (NEW)

To install a USB/BA image or set the boot default, click on the right mouse button to select the option.

Miniuboot file is not include. You must download the latest version.
MPI will ask where you stored the file. Then it will be uploaded.

Don't forget you need to prepare your USB stick for MiniUboot.

UFS9XX MultiPart Installer

I build another program to use Multipart for BA.
It's NOT to replace KCC but we can use this untill VisMan has more time to add multipart to KCC.
It's like BA_help from GOst4711.
Only we made a few more options.

- Install BA on UFS922 in Flash (with org. image or new E2 flash image)
- Installing a image from Flash / BA / UFS_Image for UFS910 and UFS922.
- Install a image from ../UFS_Images
- Reboot
- delete image
- rename image
- Set Boot image
- drag and drop from UFS_Images to Installed images list
- Copy settings, channels, var, amount.ini from running image

When installing a image you will be asked to change the name (or keep the name)
The image that is set for boot has a blue color.

Here are the copy options:

Copy channels:
/usr/local/share/enigma2/bouquets*
/usr/local/share/enigma2/userbouquet.*
/usr/local/share/enigma2/lamedb
/usr/local/share/enigma2/satellites.xml
/etc/tuxbox/satellites.xml

Copy Settings:
/usr/local/share/enigma2/settings

/usr/automount/amount.ini

Copy Var:
/var/emu/*.*
/var/etc/*.*
/var/etc/autostart/start-config
/var/keys (complete dir)

Copy BlueKey action:
/var/.blueKey or /var/etc/blueKey (depending on copy from )

Copy Plugins:
/usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/Extensions/ + selected plugin ( if selected )

Copy bootp.conf:
/var/baroot/ba/ba/{imagename}/bootp.conf
/var/baroot/ba/ba/{imagename}/bootp2.conf

AC3 DownMIX is NO longer mandatory.
The most important thing that we want emphasize, regarding this new release, is that receiver is more stable now.

In order to avoid annoying situations when receiver stop responding, you will find a new feature, EMUwatch, that can be enabled/disabled from the RSP panel, the Start/Stop EMU menu option and the main goal is to act like a watch-dog for your active EMU
